A round in The Hungering Deep
Each player types what their character does. When everyone's in, the Game Master answers all of you at once.
Nix I’ll gnaw through that glowing beetle’s shell before it notices I’m basically a snack.
Mallow I puff spores at the beetles. Maybe they’ll sneeze themselves into lunch.
Nix darts beneath the glowing beetle, teeth scraping its shell until a crack lets out a bright, buttery smell. The beetle swivels toward you—then Mallow’s spores burst across its face. It sneezes so hard it flips onto its back, legs bicycling indignantly. You both scramble in, nibbling before it can right itself. Warm energy floods your tiny bodies, and a faint rune on the wall flickers: evolution points earned. Down the tunnel, something larger answers the commotion with a hungry hiss. What do you do?
How a game works
Open a room in The Hungering Deep, share the six-letter code, and everyone makes a character. Each round you all type what you do; the AI Game Master rolls the dice for anything risky, keeps track of your money, belongings, health and skills, and tells one shared story that reacts to every player. It remembers what happened earlier, so choices come back around. Play solo on your phone, or with friends on a call.
