⚔ Rollcall

Your party. Your story. An AI Game Master that never cancels.

Rollcall is an AI RPG you play with up to 3 friends. Everyone answers the roll call, the Game Master tells what happens to all of you at once, and the round comes to life as a comic strip.

Round 12Mira71/55Tomas
Comic strip of the round. Top row: Mira, in a green cloak, scales the bell tower above the market and finds a bundle wrapped in oilcloth beside the bell. Middle row: Tomas, red-haired in a mustard doublet, starts a flour-flying row with the baker while two guards wander over. Bottom: Mira clutching the bundle; Tomas grinning.

Mira I climb the bell tower before the guards change shift.

Tomas I start a loud argument with the baker to keep the guards busy.

Tomas, the baker takes the bait and both guards drift over to watch. Mira, you haul yourself into the belfry, and there on the beam, wrapped in oilcloth, is the thing everyone in Ashford has been looking for.

What do you do?

An example round: both players locked in their actions, Mira rolled 71 against 55 to climb the tower, the game painted the round as a comic strip, and the Game Master narrated the result.

Questions

›Can I play an AI RPG with my friends?

Yes. Rollcall is built for it: open a room, share the six-letter code, and up to 3 friends join from their own phones or laptops. Everyone types what their character does, and one AI Game Master tells a shared story that reacts to all of you. Friends always join free, without an account.

›What are the comic strips?

Every round can be painted as a comic strip. If the party splits up, each character gets their own row of panels following what they did, so you can see everyone's side of the story at a glance.

›Does the AI remember the story?

Yes. The Game Master keeps a running summary of everything that has happened, and tracks each character's money, belongings, health, skills and the people you've met, so earlier choices come back around even in long games.

›Is it free?

You get 30 free rounds to try it, with no card needed, and you can play a solo game without an account. Plans start at £9.99/mo for regular game nights, and only the host pays.

›Do I need to download anything?

No. It plays in any web browser, on a phone, tablet or computer.

›What kinds of worlds can I play?

There are 22 ready-made worlds, from fantasy quests, isekai and magic schools to realistic life in London, New York and Miami. You can also describe any world you like and the Game Master will run it.

›Are there dice and skills?

Yes. Risky moves are settled with a real d100 roll plus your character's skill, so luck and experience both count. Skills level up as you use them and unlock perks.
