The House Always Wins

An AI heist RPG for you and up to 3 friends

One casino. One night. One plan that can't go wrong. It will.

Comic strip of a round in The House Always Wins: Mara, a disgraced casino sommelier who knows the owner’s tastes; and Dev, a printer technician with a grudge and excellent timing.
Every round can be painted as a comic strip like this one, following each player's part of the story.

A round in The House Always Wins

Each player types what their character does. When everyone's in, the Game Master answers all of you at once.

Mara I flash the inspector badge and complain the champagne smells like a lawsuit.

Dev I make the valet printer spit out decoy claim tickets. Very glamorous stuff.

Mara, your badge gets you past the maître d’ and into the service corridor, where your champagne complaint draws the floor manager away from the high-roller suite. He looks less worried about the bubbles than the word “inspection.” Dev, your decoy tickets begin coughing from the valet printer, sending two attendants to sort out a queue of imaginary luxury cars. The corridor clears—almost. A security chief steps into view, checks your badge against his tablet, and smiles like he’s already seen the punchline. The lift doors start closing. What do you do?

How a game works

Open a room in The House Always Wins, share the six-letter code, and everyone makes a character. Each round you all type what you do; the AI Game Master rolls the dice for anything risky, keeps track of your money, belongings, health and skills, and tells one shared story that reacts to every player. It remembers what happened earlier, so choices come back around. Play solo on your phone, or with friends on a call.
