Hollywood Dreams

An AI fame and fortune RPG for you and up to 3 friends

Everyone in LA is one lucky break from famous. Everyone.

Comic strip of a round in Hollywood Dreams: Maya, a meticulous actor balancing auditions with barista shifts; and Theo, a bedroom pop musician hoping his first commercial pays rent.
Every round can be painted as a comic strip like this one, following each player's part of the story.

A round in Hollywood Dreams

Each player types what their character does. When everyone's in, the Game Master answers all of you at once.

Maya I offer Theo my spare safety pin to fix his audition shirt, then ask if we can rehearse together.

Theo I hum my sides like a dramatic pop ballad and try not to make the casting assistant laugh.

The waiting room is packed with hopeful faces and one suspiciously expensive ficus. Maya, your safety pin rescues Theo’s shirt just as the casting assistant calls your shared number; apparently the printer has chosen its stars. Theo, your ballad version of the sides gets a snort from the assistant—and a reminder to keep the music down—but she also asks if you can slate together. The casting director glances over, amused, and gives you both a second to prepare. Your traffic-dodging, rent-paying hustle has bought you one tiny, real opening. What do you do?

How a game works

Open a room in Hollywood Dreams, share the six-letter code, and everyone makes a character. Each round you all type what you do; the AI Game Master rolls the dice for anything risky, keeps track of your money, belongings, health and skills, and tells one shared story that reacts to every player. It remembers what happened earlier, so choices come back around. Play solo on your phone, or with friends on a call.
